The Y Centre YMCA Hastings The Home of Roller Skating, Community Sports Centre, Kitchen, Gallery Seating, Dance Studio, Meetings Hastings & Rother YMCA is a registered charity.

It is a vibrant community/sports centre, and it's aim is to help people of all ages to live a healthy lifestyle and to reach their full potential. The Y Centre offers a range of sporting activities including Fitness Classes, Dance Schools, and of course, Roller Skating in all the ways - Roller Derby, Artistic Roller, Roller lessons, Extreme Roller, Roller Hockey! We also offer affordable school holiday activities which include some cooking. Our Art Shack has classes for budding artists of all ages. Jigsaw Nursery is also on site offering high quality childcare to local young children.

After 10 beautiful years our lovely Kitchen Volunteer, Lady Dawn is hanging up her apron! We have Alec patched in until he returns to Unii on the 14th of September. So we are looking for someone who would be willing to take Dawn's and Alec place. Hours are 2 on Thursdays, 3 on Saturday and 4 on Sunday. Must enjoy working with our young people and centre users. Ideally we would like a volunteer but could be persuaded to offer a paid position to the right person. Please send an email and/or CV to [email protected] soon please!
