Information on road closures/works for those who use The Ridge in Hastings.

Advance notification and information regarding Southern Gas Network roadworks. Six phases, scheduled to start 22nd September and end 21 August 2028.

Phase summary from news article:

Phase one of the work will be starting on Tue, Sep 22, 2026 with work taking place between the junctions with Grange Road and Stonestile Lane Engineers will be replacing 1500m and upgrading 30 services to adjoining properties. This should hopefully be finished by Fri 11 December 2026.

Phase 2 will start on Monday, January 4 ,2027, working between the junctions with Stonestile Lane and Elphinstone Road. This is expected to be finished by Monday 5 Apr 2027.

Phase 3 will start on Monday, June 28, 2027 working between the junctions of Elphinstone Road and Norcross Close, expected to be finished by Monday 13 September 2027.

Phase 4 will start on Saturday, October 16, 2027 working between the junctions with Grange Road and Stonestile Lane. This will hopefully be finished by Sunday 31 October 2027.

Phase 5 will start on Monday 3 January 2028, working from opposite Maitland Close, past Hillside Road and Beany's Lane, to just short of the Conquest Hospital roundabout. This is expected to be complete by Monday 28 February 2028.

The final phase will begin on Monday 26 June 2028, working between Norcross Close just past the junction with Pine Avenue. This is expected to be finished on Monday 21 August 2028.
