Top Flight Trophy – Ore Irons FC vs Ringmer Rovers Jaguars 🏆
Date: Saturday 4th October 2025

Today promised a great game of football, having met Ringmer last season in the Shield final—a match we won, but not without a real battle.

Despite the wind working against us, Ore Irons came out strong and made it clear from the first whistle that we were there to play football. The tempo was high, and the pressing was relentless. That early pressure and confident passing paid off, and Ore Irons took control of the game, going into half time with a 3–0 lead.

The second half saw both teams come out fighting. Ringmer showed real determination and treated the half as if it were a clean slate, working hard to get back into the game. Ore Irons, however, refused to let the tempo drop and continued to move the ball quickly and purposefully around the pitch. With sharp passing and controlled aggression, we found the net a few more times.

A brief lapse in concentration gave Ringmer their opportunity, and they capitalised well—earning a deserved goal for their resilience and refusal to give up.

The game finished with Ore Irons victorious and heading into the next round!

What a team! 😍🖤🩶💚

With each and everyone of them battling through all the way to the final was just pure magic and we couldn’t be more proud of them if we tried. 👏🏻 a massive thank you to our parents too for the continued support we appreciate you all 🤩

We came away with silver and what a great performance from Hastings United blues u12s for winning the tournament so congratulations to you guys! 👏🏻

Thank you Sedlescombe Rangers Football Club for yet again another fantastic tournament we really enjoyed that one!

Massive congratulations to our U12 Blues team who clinched a resounding 4-0 victory in their first league win of the season. Goes to show that focus, effort and hard work does pay off.
We couldn’t be prouder of you and we hope this success continues!

Today, DFM United did just that, beating Bexhill United in the semi-finals of the U12’s shield 🛡️

DFM Utd dominated today’s game from start to finish, showing their supporters that they wanted the victory ⚽️🥅

DFM Utd have faced some harsh criticism since starting up two years ago, but through hard work, determination and togetherness, they have proven that unity is strength.

These kids are the epitome of a consolidated team, they stay positive, they work hard and THEY make it happen. On the pitch they’re teammates and off it they’re family 🖤🩶💚
