Congratulations to Nic Di Nardo on a 3&2 victory today. Our club championship final was a little more dramatic with Iain finishing birdie, eagle to take the match into extra hole where Joel composed himself to take the victory on the 19th.

Mens finals day today at the club. Competing in the Mens Club Championship final - Iain Hacket & Joel Duncan. In the JC Witham putter final it is Ben Cromey v Nic Di Nardo. All the very best to these and all the Members playing in todays competition.

A job everyone wants when the sun shines but its the work in the wet, cold & snow that no one sees that keeps courses going all year round. A science, an art, early mornings, stresses to get courses ready on a daily basis. Thanks to our team of green staff for the work they do on a daily basis.

A close final leaderboard saw Kristian Taylor victorious by a single stroke over our Pro shop Assistant & Wales Golf player Alex James. Luke Bartram took the honour of leading Rossendale GC Member on level par. Many thanks to all participants today in challenging conditions.

Our congratulations go once again to Kristian Taylor of Formby GC for successfully defending his title by winning the 2026 Derek Ingham Memorial Trophy over 36 holes today on -8. A fantatsic display of golf in challenging conditons especially in the 2nd round.

We are delighted to be hosting the Derek Ingham Memorial Trophy once again at Rossendale Golf Club this Sunday, 30th August 2026. Spectators are welcome to watch the golf and enjoy our clubhouse facilities.

We are delighted to announce that our Gents Bury League Team took the title for 2026 after a fantastic sudden death playoff in the final v Greenmount GC. Many thanks to Harwood Golf Club for hosting the finals. A great achievement for the club and our Men's section.

A great day of golf yesterday for our Lady Captains Event. Well done to all the winners on the day in the 9 & 18 hole comps but it was Angel Nicholls who claimed the overall 27 hole Board prize for 2026
