The weather was certainly against us and whilst it meant we had to abandon play on Saturday it set-up another exciting 18 hole shoot out to find our champions.

The annual Captains Drive-In kicked off this morning as we welcomed our 2026 captains to the tee ⛳️
Club Captain Mark Parker, Ladies Captain Liz Petts, and Junior Captain Luca Corlett all launched phenomenal drives down the first.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to watch and support as they begin their captaincy year.
Here’s to an amazing 2026, both on and off the fairways! ✨🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

This morning, our 2025 outgoing captains took on their final duty of the year at the annual putt-out ⛳️ Club Captain James Newman, Ladies Captain Carol Knight, and Junior Captain Patrick Sykes all handled the pressure beautifully, leaving their first putts incredibly close to the pin 👏Thank you for being such an outstanding leadership team — What a it’s been! 🌟

With only a small Junior Section in comparison - we are so proud of the whole team for continuing to show commitment, dedication and pride playing for their team!

This weekend the men's scratch team face Test Valley GC in the semi final of the EAGG league.
The match will take place at Woburn on the Dukes course.

A brilliant weekend for Hindhead Women’s Scratch Team, with three Surrey trophies coming back to Hindhead! 🏆

After three consecutive seasons reaching the Surrey Scratch Final, we were disappointed to lose in the opening round at Roehampton this year. However, we rallied to reach the final of the Plate competition, where we beat Sunningdale on a very windy day at Fulwell on Saturday.

With the Surrey women’s finals held across one weekend, we then headed to Guildford Golf Club today for the individual finals.

First up, Katie Laud and Belinda Pope took down a strong West Hill pairing 6&4 to retain the Surrey Inter-Club Scratch Foursomes trophy. This is a club knockout competition where pairings can change each match, and Fiona White and Becky Gee also represented Hindhead through the year.

Finally, in the match behind, Becky Gee and her partner Amelia Matthews (West Hill) defeated their opponents from Foxhills 6&5 to win the Surrey Foursomes Scratch (Stirling Salvers).
