✨🏅 2026 Swann School of Dance Medal Presentation & Awards Ceremony Part 1 🏅✨

What an amazing day we have had at our 2026 Swann School of Dance Medal Presentation and Awards Ceremony! 🤩🤩

I am so incredibly proud of all the children who took part in performing today. While not all of our students were able to attend and they were dearly missed, those who did join us and participate in our class performances truly shone like superstars 🥰⭐

Their smiles, confidence and enthusiasm lit up the stage and I could not be more proud of each and every one of them. For some of our dancers, today was their very first performance and they absolutely blew everyone away with their courage, talent and determination 👏🏻👏🏻

I would also like to say a few thank yous.

Firstly, thank you to our wonderful parent helpers who helped with set-up, costume changes, raffle tickets, the tuck shop and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Your support means so much to me and I truly couldn’t have done it without you 🙏🏻🤍

A huge thank you as well to everyone who donated raffle prizes. We had some fantastic prizes thanks to your generosity and it was such a blessing to have your support 🙏🏻🤍

Finally, thank you to everyone who came along and supported our dancers today. Your encouragement and continued support help make our school what it is and events like these would not be possible without you 🙏🏻🤍

I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful for yet another wonderful Medal Presentation and Awards Ceremony. It is such a privilege to watch our students spend time together, build friendships, support one another and simply enjoy dancing. Seeing those moments reminds me exactly why I do what I do.

It has always been, and always will be, for the children. ❤️

Our adult Ballroom & Latin dance class is a relaxed, welcoming and enjoyable session designed for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time or returning to dancing after years away, no previous experience is needed!!

With no pressure and plenty of encouragement, this class is all about enjoying yourself 💃🏽🕺🏻

✨🤍PROUD MOMENT🤍✨

I am so honoured to have received the Mary Richardson Ballroom and Latin Bursary Award 2026 for achieving the highest marks in one of the Ballroom genres offered by the NATD for my Associate Professional Ballroom examination. This achievement means so much to me and is a milestone I will treasure forever ✨

Today, I also want to take a moment to acknowledge our dearest Pat. Although she is sadly no longer with us, I know without a doubt she would have been incredibly proud of this achievement. When I opened the letter from the NATD with this wonderful news, I just knew she was smiling down on me with the biggest smile and so much pride.

Pat supported me every single step of the way throughout all of my professional examinations up until January of this year, always believing in me, encouraging me and always beside me. Even though she is no longer here in person, I know she is still right behind me, supporting me through every moment of this journey in spirit.

This is such a special milestone, and more than anything I wish I could tell her all about it and have one of her big hugs. But I know she is watching from above, smiling proudly.

Pat has always been, and always will be, one of my greatest inspirations. Forever and always. I only hope I can continue to make her proud every step of the way 🤍
