Match Report.
East Durham v Blackhall CWFC
The referee got the game underway on this fresh Sunday morning for a first league meeting between the 2 side, Blackhall started well and looked solid at the back, nice compact shape and looked to frustrate the hosts, the first 20 minutes it was an even game with some good play between our midfielders and 2 strikers Jack Croucher and Liam Smith, however the hosts took the lead shortly after.
Blackhall got settled into the game and after some good build up play by our midfield and a good through ball for Tyler Robinson to slot the ball past the East Durham goalkeeper, then a few debatable decisions from the referee and some sloppy play around our midfield and defence led to the host starting to build a steady lead.

The 2nd half started and as the rain started to pour the game started to pull away from us with a few avoidable goals going in the back of our net without reply, without some good saves from our goalkeeper the scoreline could have been much worse, plenty of positives to take from today as we are still finding our way as a new team and as we assess our best line up, tough result in the end so back to the drawing board and this result now has to be put firmly behind us and let's go again next week for the Blackhall derby.
