Team fundraising and for a bit of fun amongst all tje football fans out there, £5 a team with a 1st and 2nd place up for grabs, £100 to the winner, £40 to 2nd place and £100 going towards the running of our new community football club for 2026/27 let's see if we can get this filled and we will do the draw, thanks and good luck everyone 👍

⚫️🔴 MATCH DAY RESULT 🔴⚫️

Blackhall Community Welfare FC vs Wingate Constitutional FC

A tough game today for the lads, but another huge step forward for this team. 💪

We started the match 1-0 down despite putting in some strong challenges and showing good fight early on. Charlie got us back into the game with a brilliant goal to make it 1-1, before Logan put us ahead 2-1 just before half time. 🔥

There were some outstanding saves from the keeper throughout the first half, along with solid defending and great interceptions all over the pitch. Every single player put in a massive shift and worked hard for each other.

Going into the second half 2-1 up, Wingate changed tactics and came at us with more pace and strength, eventually taking the lead, After a few changes we managed to pull one back and make it 6-3, but they finished strongly and added another 3 goals.

Despite the result, it was a fantastic performance considering this is only the team’s second game together. Playing in that heat and still battling until the final whistle shows the character this team has. 👏
