We’re so sad to hear the news about the legendary Dolly Parton today 💗

As some of you may know, our boat is actually called Dolly Parton! 🚣‍♀️🌊

The name comes from the incredible all-female ExtraOARdinary crew who rowed this very boat 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in an astonishing 42 days, 7 hours and 17 minutes back in 2022 💪

They even set a new world record for the fastest Atlantic crossing by a female trio 🌊

They named the boat after Dolly, and she even gave the team a brilliant shout-out herself on BBC news

She may have had a fresh paint job since then, but the name and story remain

We’ll be thinking of Dolly as we row 9 to 5… (and 5 to 9!) 🎶💖

🐬 Some dolphins joined us on our last row out from Hartlepool Marina, swimming right alongside us.

✅ 60 hours done, halfway there!

We’ve officially completed 60 of the 120 on-water training hours needed before we can take on the World's Toughest Row . 🌊🚣‍♂️

Last weekend was a big one for us. We completed our 30-hour continuous row, including rowing through the night. Safe to say it gave us a real taste of what’s ahead. 🌙💪

Training milestones ticked off:

✅ 60 of 120 on-water hours complete
✅ Night rowing complete
✅ 30-hour continuous row complete
⏱️ 60 more hours to go
