Another cracking day at sea🌊 not loads of fish but the ones we caught were quality fish (aboard trio 111) hartlepool (19/9/21) the morning fishing was very slow for me trying to work the shad but they weren't interested😬 in my favourite blue/white, so I went on the ripper and only managed a ling so back to the drawing board🤔 a few fish earlier was coming up on pink hokkies etc so I decided to wait for the tide to turn! then got the good old rhubarb/custard shads out and bang straight into a cracking cod😊 got these 2 beauty's on the same drift then got another abit smaller shortly after then it all went quite again, but he ho I was happy perseverance paid off😉 other lads mainly had ling and some cracking ones to👍 and Dean Rothwell ended up with 2 cracking cod and a ling🎣 and Martin Garside ended with the 2 biggest ling of the day both in double figures 👌and still loads of mackerel about 🎣🎣🎣
