And just like that… Grace took her final class at KLSD this week 🥹💜
From our tiny Paddington tapper, who won a trophy for a mostly improvised routine, to a handstand mad junior an absolute bundle of energy that never tired , to the beautiful dancer, teacher and role model she has become — what a privilege it has been to watch you flourish.
Anyone who knows Grace knows her huge smile and happy-go-lucky nature (along with an impressive ability to improvise her way through just about anything ). She’s one of the kindest, most loyal and passionate people you could meet. Over the years she’s given so much to KLSD and we couldn’t be more grateful of the example she has set for the students following in her footsteps.
Watching the little people who walk through our doors grow up and eventually spread their wings is one of the loveliest, but hardest, parts of what we do. I still look at Grace and see that tiny ball of energy in her little purple skirted leotard bounding through the doors of the Town Hall Theatre where her dance journey started all those years ago. We have just one more “last” left to go — her final KLSD show 🥹
Grace, thank you for all the years of loyalty, the beautiful performances, incredible memories and the many many many laughs. We’re going to miss seeing your beautiful smile around the studios, but we couldn’t be prouder of you or more excited for everything that’s ahead.
There will always be a home for you at KLSD. Go be amazing, be brave, be the Grace we adore— our little star girl. 💜✨
