We're delighted to announce the North East youth team selected to represent our region at the inter regional track championships in Glasgow on Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of September!

A huge congratulations to all the riders, representing the north east is something to be proud of and we're excited to see what this team can do together on the track!

We'd also like to recognise our reserve riders and every member of the wider North East squad. The commitment, standard and attitude throughout training has been fantastic, with everyone pushing one another in preparation for racing.

Tickets to watch the championships are available for anyone who is in Glasgow and would like to come along and support our north east riders, or anyone who fancies a trip to watch some brilliant racing with the top youth riders in the UK!

We have a British Cycling Youth Track cluster tomorrow!!

These sessions are the first step on the British Cycling pathway and are perfect for any youngsters wanting to try out and gain confidence on the track. If any more advanced youth racing riders also want to use this time for track training time then you're welcome to come down as well!

Book onto the session now on the BC website or our own TeamUp, and we will also have entry on the day if you'd just like to show up 👊

Come along THIS SUNDAY to our Family Fun Day at the Velodrome!

There's something for all the family, with garden games, inflatables and our bike skills course... and of course our ice bucket challenge!!
We have some excellent prizes available including family passes for the cinema, flamingo land and Ninja warrior 🤩
Food and drink will also be served all day including fresh woodfire pizzas, fries and hot dogs 🍕

We want to see as much of the community down so cyclists or not, bring your family and friends!

🌧️ TRACK SESSIONS CANCELLED TONIGHT

Unfortunately, the weather has beaten us tonight. The track is far too wet, with more rain forecast on and off throughout the evening, so all track sessions are cancelled.
