JKS Harrow Shotokan Karate are taking on new students.
Harrow Shotokan karate has been running for 15 years and is one of the largest karate clubs in NW London with over 170 students.
We are one of the few clubs in the area with direct links to Japan. We regularly host instructors from our Tokyo Headquarters and have training trips to Japan every year.
You'll be taught by Sensei Shyam Raithatha 6th Dan. One of the few instructors to earn that rank having done his grading in Tokyo in 2022.
On top of his 34 years of karate experience, he has worked as security in some of London's toughest pubs, bars and night clubs for 26 years. He also owns a security company.
If your motivation to train is to learn real world self defense, then this is the club for you.
The Instructors experience counts. Knowing the difference between Martial Arts theory and the realities of real world violence.
He still regularly supports his team on the tough nights on weekends.
