HACK SQUAT! A great machine that doesn't get used enough and when it's being used most times its been used incorrectly.
As we know hack squat is a machine that removes your lower back from the squating movement which means more work for the legs.
Key points to look out for when using the hack squat!
1- feet position depends on what part of your legs you'd like to target, I mainly use hack squat to target my quads therefore my feet is closer to each other.
2- keep your back on the platform otherwise you might aswel just barbell squat.
3- control your reps its not a race.
4- focus on what rep range you're aiming for and why! Remember strength and hypertrophy training is different.
5- imbrace your core, deep breath on top, hold your breath while going doing, as you go up breath out.
