Got to love a moment when you come home and switch on a bit of Heartbeat - I love 60s music anyway! And then I see my beautiful dear friend, yogi, leader of two Himalayan retreats (frankly I would never have gone to either if she wasn’t leading) and watched her act and realise how beautiful an actress she is and feel immense pride and gratitude for the woman she is. Some people come into your life as friends and quietly become family. I love you dearly beautiful gorgeous friend. Love you 🥰 💕😍😘🤗🤩

The Franchise Affair – A Mystery On and Off Stage! 🎭

Here’s our wonderful cast of The Franchise Affair, currently playing at the Studio Theatre, Harrogate. There are only a few tickets left, so if you’d like to catch this gripping mystery, don’t leave it too long!

You may notice that one member of the cast appears to be… an illustration. Well, The Franchise Affair is a mystery, after all!

The truth is rather less sinister. Like most amateur theatre productions, our cast members are juggling rehearsals alongside jobs, families, conferences, appointments and the general busyness of life. Our “mystery cast member” spent the day at a conference in Birmingham and only just made it back in time for the dress rehearsal, missing the photo call entirely.

That’s community theatre for you – a group of dedicated people who somehow make it all work because they love bringing stories to life and entertaining audiences.

So do come along, allow yourself to be entertained, and perhaps see if you can work out who our mystery cast member is before they make their dramatic appearance on stage!

Absolutely magnificent production of Miss Saigon - the cast are beyond brilliant and it packs such a powerful punch - live theatre at its very best. Loved every minute. See it if you can!
