Our 2024 body confidence survey asked 200
women over the age of 40 to score their body confidence out of 10.

53% scored themselves 5 or below.
25% said there lack of body confidence had a significant impact on their everyday lives
10% said it stopped them taking part in activities like going to the beach, swimming and exercising.

This is your reminder for when ever you are struggling with body image, just remember how much you love the women in your life and none of that has to do with what their body looks like! ❤️

I was invited by to pitch my business at the Value Exchange this week.

It was an opportunity to share my passion and business to people with real skills, experience and insight, there to listen and see how they might be able to help.

It got me thinking about how rarely we treat helping someone up as valuable in its own right. We measure worth in money so often we forget: your time, your knowledge, your network, your attention , these are currencies too.

The same principle applies to this space , we can make a difference to people’s small businesses, creative freelancers, women showing up to inspire others.

✨Comment properly, not just 🔥
✨Recommend an account you rate to a friend who needs it
✨Show up for people when they launch something new
✨Introduce two people who should know each other

None of it costs anything. All of it moves someone forward.

As a model it’s been fabulous to feature in swimwear campaigns. But it’s generally a token gesture, never to be seen on a website.
One shoot. One box ticked.

Wearing swimwear that was never really made for me, for a fuller bust, for a body that had changed, for a woman who knows herself now more than she ever did.

So I stopped waiting to be chosen and decided to build it myself. I want women to feel confident wearing out swimwear, to feel seen and celebrated. ❤️

That’s where Liberté started.

I want to be honest about something.

Liberté currently goes up to a size 18. And I know that will mean some women might feel this brand isn’t quite for them yet.

I feel that. Because “every woman has a story” only means something if every woman can see herself in this.

The truth is simple , this is a small, self-funded start up. I’ve built what I could, with what I have, and started where my budget allowed me to start properly.

Size 20 and 22 are next. That’s not a vague promise? It’s part of the next phase of development.

Thank you for your patience while I build this the right way, one size run at a time.
