⛳ The 4th may be a short par 4, but don't let its length fool you.

This is a hole where accuracy from the tee is far more important than power. Find the right position off the tee and you'll give yourself a great opportunity to attack the flag and set up a birdie chance.

Get out of position, however, and what looks straightforward on the scorecard can quickly become much more challenging.

A classic risk-and-reward hole that rewards precision and smart course management.

👏 More success for Harrogate Golf Club members!

Congratulations to Al Williams and Jason Brown, who travelled to Cleveland Golf Club yesterday to compete in the North Yorkshire & South Durham Championship – 36 Scratch.

Played in some extremely blustery conditions, both represented the club brilliantly. Jason secured a top-20 finish, while Al produced an outstanding performance to finish runner-up on -4, narrowly missing out on the title after losing on a back-six countback.

A huge congratulations to both of you. It's fantastic to see Harrogate Golf Club continuing to be represented so strongly in some of the region's biggest competitions.

Next up, we wish the very best of luck to our Harrogate Junior Team, who, after winning the Yorkshire Championship, now head to the English Championship in early August.
