Harrogate Racquets Club Located centrally, just a few minutes from Harrogate town centre, In the Oatlands area of Harrogate.

HRC is recognised by Badminton England as a premier badminton & North Yorkshire Performance Centre (NYPC) facility and is working toward being a centre of excellence. The club has also recently completed the Lawn Tennis Association Clubmark accreditation program. As a result of a merger between Harrogate Sports Club which occupied the current site since the 1920’s and Low Harrogate Tennis club, fo

rmerly on Victoria Avenue, the club now offers one of the finest tennis, badminton and table tennis facilities in the area. Owned and run by members, the club is guided by a strong management team who are keen to build on the two former clubs distinguished history. Growing in membership year on year, the club offers four wonderful (outside) carpet tennis courts (3 floodlit) which provide all year round play, probably the best three badminton courts in Yorkshire, plus a separate table tennis facility which now boasts seven teams in the local league. The club has changing/shower rooms, licensed bar and catering facilities, offers an inclusive membership regardless of ability / experience, and offers a warm welcome to new members. Private Hire- With prior arrangement the sports facilities are available for private hire (schools, companies, visiting groups etc).

Keep the kids active, having fun and learning new skills this summer at Harrogate Racquets Club. Our holiday camps are open to members AND non-members, ages 5+.

🎾 TENNIS
Mon 20 – Fri 24 July & Mon 27 – Wed 29 July
Mornings: 9.00–10.30am (ages 5–8) | 9.00am–12.00pm (ages 9–12)
Afternoons: 3.00–6.00pm (ages 12+)

🏸 BADMINTON
Tue 21 – Thu 23 July
9.00–10.00am (ages 5–12) | 10.00am–12.00pm (ages 12+)

🏓 TABLE TENNIS
Mon 27 – Wed 29 July & Mon 17 – Wed 19 August

What a fantastic tournament at the weekend! We had over 50 players across all 3 sports. Such good fun and super energy. Even the sun came out for us....we all enjoyed a host of homemade cakes and scones to finish the afternoon. A big thank you to all the helpers that made this possible 😀
