How do you sum up something that’s been such a big part of your life for the past 10 years? But as of today, it’s official that I’ll be closing the doors on ✨
It’s been a whirlwind from the get go and being part of the ((BOUNCE)) community has been something I’d never change or take back. I’ve met so many amazing people along the way who have now become close friends, and from a personal perspective I’ve become a completely different person - from the girl who got her mum to walk to to the first class and who hid at the back of the class all those years ago, to someone with the confidence to be up there every week with you all.
From being a regular attendee at the original Harrogate classes (sometimes 5 classes a week), to getting through lockdown, then becoming an instructor and teaching at Leeds alongside another amazing team, to finally taking over Harrogate almost 3 years ago… it really has been a full circle moment.
The past few months have put a lot into perspective for me and made me realise just how important time with family is. Alongside that, I’ve recently started a new role at work which I really want to focus on and which will involve a lot more travel. I’ve gone backwards and forwards with this decision so many times, but I know that right now I need to give my time to the things that matter most and sadly that means it’s time to close this chapter.
I just want to say a massive thank you to every single attendee who has turned up and supported me, especially those who have been there week after week no matter what. I have met the most amazing friends and bestfriends through ((BOUNCE)) and I’m so grateful to you all for your support. I’m genuinely so sad I won’t get to see you all every week anymore, but I’ll always be grateful for you all!
Our final class will be this coming Monday at 6:30pm in the gym at St John Fisher’s and I can’t wait to see you all for one last ((BOUNCE)) Harrogate send off💗
