We have several bikes for sale whilst we refresh our hire-fleet for the upcoming season. All are in excellent condition and are at competitive prices. We have a Marin San Quentin MTB is size XL, an XS ladies Trek Lexa road bike, a ladies Pendleton ebike, Specialized Tarmac road bikes in sizes 56 & 58cm and a ladies/girls XS Specialized hybrid bike. Big shout out to Rob Overton and Matt Wilson for achieving second place in their class in the Cycle Race Across Germany. 1129 km from Flensburg on the Danish Border down to Garmish-Partenkirchen right on the Austrian border. Not for the faint hearted, but you both totally smashed it!

It was West Berlin or Flat 5 65/B Seeburger Strasse to be precise, in the area of Spandau. The network of cycle paths and cycle routes made getting around very simple. One day the UK might get something similar, but don’t hold your breath. A few pics of Wavell Barracks today. Closed for around 20 years but more or less exactly as I remember it. Had lunch in Romano’s on the same red velour furniture.

With Spring around the corner our next MTB Leader Course is being held over the weekend of 23/24 April. Held in beautiful countryside close to Harrogate in North Yorkshire, we will provide you with the knowledge, riding skills and assessment needed to qualify you as a MTB Leader. Mountain Biking is associated with freedom, adventure and discovery and promotes an opportunity to explore local and national wilderness areas. It comes as no surprise that MTB Leader training courses are in demand. Teachers, youth workers and those looking for a change in career are some of the many people we see. But more often than not they are regular MTB riders looking for adventure and achieving a sports-leadership qualification.

Our courses are accredited to the Mountain-Bike Instructor Award Scheme (MIAS). We aim to credit riders with either a Level 1 or Level 2 MTB Leader Award, depending upon experience. We are accredited to the Standard Learning Credits Scheme (SLC) where generous funding is available to members of the military. Without doubt now is an ideal time to become a MTB Leader.

Payment for Level 1/2 Course is the same – at £225, which includes Course Registration, Knowledge and Skills Training, Ride Logbooks and Course Assessment.
Where your friends or colleagues number at least 4 riders, then we are happy for you to pick your own course dates.
For your convenience you can leave your own bike at home and hire one of our Marlin San Quentin hard-tail mountain bikes.
