Super proud of these two ๐Ÿ‘

Both raced hard and came away with a PB and a podium finish ๐Ÿ†

Lorna actually took on two races, a mixed doubles on Wednesday night and the womenโ€™s pro on Saturdayโ€ฆunreal effort.

Kate came in chasing a PB, and she delivered.

What makes this even better is that neither of them had a completely smooth build-up.

Iโ€™ve been helping Lorna manage proximal hamstring tendinopathy, and the way sheโ€™s responded in such a short space of time has been seriously impressive.

Kate has only recently started working with me and has been managing a few niggles, but the goal now is to get her feeling fully confident again, both in training and on race day.

This has honestly been a great pairing to work with, and I genuinely believe thereโ€™s still so much more to come from both of them.

Huge congratulations to Emily and Ryan on completing their first Ironman!

Both of them have really stepped up their training this year, and it has been an absolute pleasure supporting them throughout the journey.

There were plenty of hiccups along the way, but they stayed focused and got the job done.

This one, without a shadow of a doubt, comes down to an individualโ€™s needs. Donโ€™t be fooled by social media.

Training twice a day can work on some days of the week, but only if youโ€™re nailing the basics, managing recovery, and staying on top of the low-hanging fruit.

For most of us, one well-executed session at the right intensity is far better than two sessions done with poor intent.

There are factors to consider: the interference effect, wellness monitoring, and the risk of overtraining. But above all, if youโ€™re bouncing back well between sessions, thatโ€™s what truly matters.
