The AGM will be held at Bennet's in Leyton Road, Harpenden (formerly the British Legion), starting at 19:00 on Saturday 9 February. We have deliberately changed the scheduling of the meeting this year to encourage attendance from more club members than we have had in recent years. This is an important date in the Club's calendar and I would strongly encourage you to make the time to attend on the 9th, please.

Hello all!

Firstly, may I wish you all a rather belated Happy New Year. A new year also means a new cricket season will be upon us before too long, and I am sure that you are wondering when to pull the cricket bag from the loft. We will once again be running pre-season winter nets which will happen every Friday night. As always, please feel free to invite friends along who are looking to join a club. The details are below:

Dates: 1st February - 12th April inclusive
Time: 8:00 - 9:00 (plus an additional half hour after for a 'warm down')
Location: Choice Cricket Centre, Redbourn, AL3 7DJ
Price: £5 adults / £3 for students and those out of work

I would also like to reiterate on Adam's previous email regarding the AGM, an important date in the club's calendar. In previous years attendance has been low, and as such has been moved to a Saturday (9th February). After the formalities, the evening will quickly turn into a social gathering. It would be greatly appreciated if you could make every effort to attend.

At the end of last season, Adam and Neil resigned from their respective roles as team and social secretary, two roles of great importance within the club. We are actively looking for nominations to fill both of these roles. If you would be interested in fulfilling either of these roles, please do come forward to one of the committee, who would be able to inform you further as to what the role would entail. Please feel free to make contact in advance of the AGM to make the committee aware of your interest.

Hello all

We have been contacted by the league inviting us to receive our trophy at a presentation being held before Saracens' Premiership game v Sale Sharks on 17th November at Allianz Park. Presentations will be in the Olympic bar at 11am followed by watching the rugby kicking off at 1pm. Tickets have been discounted for the occasion at £17 for U24s and £25 for adults. Please note that anyone wishing to attend the presentation must be in possession of a match day ticket.

Naturally, it would be good if Dolphins were represented at the event. So if you are finding your Saturdays a little quiet and would like to attend, please let me know by Monday 29th October stating how many tickets you would like.
