Pool2lake Open Water Pool2lake offers professional pool & open water coaching for adults. Hello, my name is Heather Schelhase and I was born in Johnannesburg, South Africa.

We moved to the UK in 2004, wanting an adventure and still living it. I got into teaching swimming in 2009 and have not looked back. I have always loved swimming. I had wonderful swimming opportunities when my family and I lived in Connecticut for 2 years and was able to swim in the Long Island Sound and a variety of rivers. Nothing better than swimming with the sun beating down on you and no pool walls.
