No need for a volunteer shout out today, as the roster is pretty much there! 🥳 🦺 Thank you Harpenden! 🧡

So, instead here's some stats 📊 for you....

Since we started 11 weeks ago we've welcomed:

✅ 3302 total participants;
🔁 872 of those returning again;
💟 221 total volunteers; AND

🆕 A frankly AMAZING total of👋 573 👋 completely new first timers to parkrun 🚶‍♀️🏃 🥳 🫶

Average FTs in Herts are around 10-15 a week and we are THRILLED that so many our of local community have come out to give parkrun and parkwalk a try.

JOIN OUR SET-UP CREW!

Every week we need up to 40 volunteers to put on parkrun 🙋‍♀️. All are welcome to help and we will try to match volunteers to the roles they want.

10 weeks in and with our course mainly on grass 🌳 we've learned that its especially helpful if those on SET UP are familar with the course 🖼️ - and with SET UP being a role which allows for running 🏃or walking🚶‍♀️as well, it's a perfect way for our regular participants to give back once in a while and be part of the Volunteer team.🦺🥳🙌

So if you'd be running with us anyway and can occasionally get to the park a bit earlier to help set up for everyone, do let us know at [email protected].
