Merchant Taylors - roadworks
This is to inform you of road works that are taking place in May half-term from Tuesday, 26th May to Friday, 29th May 2026. This may go into Saturday, 30th May 2026, if the works take longer than expected.
Attached is a map of the closure, as well as entry through the Moor Park Estate and exit down the Long Drive. This will be used as a one-way system during this period. The red arrow is the entry into MTS, the blue arrow is the exit from MTS, and the pink highlighted area is the road closure.

The lake will be open as normal throughout this period.

We are now opening our weekday evening swims as well as weekend mornings😁

The water temperature as increased, the sun has come out and the BBQ's are starting again on the last Tuesday of every month!

This is a face that (even though he sits in a kayake on the lake during our sessions) a lot of you guys would most likely know, due to the fact that he likes to chat.

Our kayakers are very friendly, so if you are feeling nervous, want someone to chat with or want some advice on open water swimming they will happy talk to you and offer their assistance.
