Announcement time!!

For a lot of you this will be long overdue, for some it will be a refreshing change and for some it wont be a welcome update, however for the longevity of the club we have to be realistic.

We have been testing new tyres in the background (and we are sure some have been using non reg tyres anyway, which isnt cool btw!) And we have decided to allow another control tyre to be used, the Buzz break tyres for us have the best overall feeling for the PVC surface, and they also have caused minimal wear in the nearly 3 years we've been running them, but.... the price is high, and the availability is at times difficult.

So for that reason we are now allowing Reve D AS01, between us and Keith Newton we have tried various chassis with different combinations of tyres, new to hard scrubbed and they are pretty good (after they've scrubbed in for less than a battery)

Now, they do leave marks the surface if you are running big P tile Boost/turbo settings and burn tunes just do not work on the surface, so we would ask you run a different throttle profile/gearing to ensure we can continue to use the PVC until its last breath!

We aren't ignorant to the drivers requests we just had to make the correct decision for us, the other drivers and the surface! So moving forward we are now allowing all Buzz break tyres still and the Reve D AS01 tyre, we will be holding stock soon at the RRP.

We really hope this encourages more drivers to attend, we also added another metre to the track lengthways so we are maxed now at around 19m long!!

Its a double session kinda week, Thursday and Saturday, usual rules and regs apply, please being extension leads as someone has helped themselves to ours on numerous occasions and now we are down to 2, hope to see a fair few of you there, last session on this layout before the upcoming competition layout change ready for Septembers feeder and then Team attack 3 in November!!

Morning Guys

It's looking like tomorrow could be a busier one, with that in mind remember there will be drivers of all levels so track etiquette must be on point! RC Goats is coming to make you all look like you know what you are doing with epic photos so bring your best body and abilities!

And please if you can bring an extension lead, someone decided to help themselves to ours so we are short 🤙🏻
