1-to-1 Shooting Session (Player + Coach)

First 10 mins:
Movement off the ball around yellow/pink poles. Coach serves the ball. Finish first time or touch-touch.

Second 10 mins:
Player tracks back, coach plays the ball into space. Open up and strike from distance (ideally one touch).

Third 10 mins:
Start in the yellow cone facing away. On coach’s call/pass, react, turn, and finish quickly.

Added drills:
• 1v1 pressure finishing (10 mins): Coach applies passive/active pressure, player finishes quickly.
• Cross & finish (10 mins): Coach delivers crosses from different angles, player attacks and finishes.
• Combination play (10 mins): Quick one-twos with the coach before finishing.

⚽ We’re Hiring: 1-to-1 Football Coach – Harlow ⚽

About Us:
G9 Football Development is dedicated to helping young players improve both on and off the pitch. We deliver high-quality coaching in a fun, safe, and professional environment.

The Role:
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated 1-to-1 Football Coach to join our team in Harlow. This role is perfect for someone passionate about player development and looking to gain valuable coaching experience.

💷 Pay: £10–£15 per session (depending on experience)
🕒 Schedule: Flexible evening and weekend sessions

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver engaging 1-to-1 football sessions.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Motivate and support players of all abilities.
• Communicate effectively with parents and players to track progress.

What We’re Looking For:
• FA Level 1 (or Introduction to Coaching Football) – or willingness to work towards it.
• A genuine passion for football and player development.
• Reliable, professional, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain).

What We Offer:
• Ongoing support and mentoring from experienced coaches.

✨ Massive shoutout to one of our 1-to-1 players, Gabriella, who’s been training with us for around 6 months.

She’s just been signed by West Ham Academy! ⚒️

The club reached out to her parents to invite her for a trial, and when they asked for my thoughts, I told her to go for it and give 200%. She went through a tough 3–4 week trial, and her parents proudly shared the news that she got in. 🙌

This is such a proud moment for Gabriella and her family. From the start, we knew she had that special touch — something rare for her age group.

Now, the next step is the big stage… getting that England youth call-up. We’re waiting for your name to pop up, Gabs. The journey’s just getting started! 💫⚽
