Well another excellent day at South Elmham Lakes with some returning participants and some new to Fly Fishing. They came from as far away as Caster and Cambridge. All did extremely well and left as either improved fly caster's or competent first timers. We are looking forward to our next session later this month. The weather was kind.

What a great bunch of people to spend the day with. It was a pleasure to help one person improve his casting and introduce the rest to the gentle art of fly fishing. All did exceptionally well.

Well the Sun was shining so some of our Try Our Fly Team had an awayday. We were very fortunate to be invited as guests to Willow Lake Trout Fishery. What a beautiful place as can be seen from the photos. Fishing was hard due to the heat but Mike manages to land a nice fish which was returned for another day. Thank you to the Willow Lake Fishery Club. 👍🏻

What a brilliant day was had on Saturday 9th May at South Elmham Lakes. The Charity Match Competition reeled in a fantastic £3,000 for East Anglian Children’s Hospice, all thanks to the amazing anglers who turned to support this event.

Rods were dancing, fish were biting, and the banks were full of laughter and friendly rivalry. A proper feel-good day from start to finish.

From all of us on the Try Our Fly coaching team, a huge well-done — to all the organisers you made the day a triumph. Looking forward to next year.🎣🎣
