Roller Fitness combines roller skating and exercise activity that is planned, structured, and repetitive for the purpose of conditioning the body. RollerFitness consists of cardiovascular conditioning, strength and resistance training, and flexibility. Roller skates or blades are worn while you workout. Roller skates or blades require balance, every exercise requires stronger core en
gagement, correct posture and technique to prevent you falling over. Exercise becomes more challenging as the body adapt’s to find its centre point, balancing and exerting movement that will enhance or maintain physical fitness. RollerFitness is an online Continuing Professional Development training provider; delivering endorsed training methods and resources that allow fitness and skating enthusiasts to set up and teach RollerFitness classes in their community. We are proud to be recognised by three national governing bodies, the BRSF (British Roller Sports Federation) USARS (USA Roller Sports) and CIMSPA. The BRSF are the national governing body for all roller sports in the UK and Northern Ireland. They are affiliated with World Skate, The British Olympic Association and Sport England as the national governing body of roller sports in all forms. USARS are the national governing body of competitive roller sports in the United States and recognised by the International Roller Sports Federation (FIRS) as well as the United States Olympic Committee. RollerFitness strives to continue uniting skaters throughout the world. Our mission is to help promote roller sports not only as a fun or competitive activity, but also an alternative way to stay fit and live a healthier lifestyle. Can I become a RollerFitness instructor? We ask that all instructors agree to and are able to complete the following before starting the RollerFitness CPD training programme.

✓ I can stand in Safety Lock.
✓ I can stand in V-Stance.
✓ I can skate forward without falling.
✓ I can skate forward with alternating stroke action.
✓ I can skate forward & glide on both skates in parallel position.
✓ I can skate forward dropping to crouch & glide on both skates.
✓ I can stop using the plow technique, without falling or using a barrier.
