Harbury are delighted to announce the coaching set up for the 2026/27 season, with Ben Linnett stepping up as Head Coach and Matt Homan joining him as Assistant Coach.

Whilst Linno is part of the furniture at Harbury and will be looking to continue to help the club make strides forward, Homan is new to the coaching set-up and is looking forward to putting his stamp on things as a player-coach.

Pictured in the semi-final against Wigan, Matt is no stranger to Harbury, and given his on and off-field experience we’re delighted to have him on board and consider this appointment a real coup! His experience includes 3 years of 1st XV coaching at Warwick School, as well as having featured for clubs in his native South Africa, and local clubs Broadstreet and Leamington!

Whilst outgoing Josh TB won’t be around weekly, he’s agreed to stay on as an auxiliary coach, taking sessions where needed. We’re grateful for his support… so long as he keeps bringing Saints stash!

HRFC are always on the look out for new players of any level and this year is no different!! Whether you’re new to the game, are looking for a change of scenery, or want to return to the game after a few years out, we have the space and teams to accommodate!

We’ve an exciting coaching team which we’re set to announce soon, and with over 60 regular players now is the perfect time to join the Village!! Get in touch today to find out more, or come to our first pre-season session on 2nd July for a touch tournament and a BBQ!

M&J Tour 7 of 7: U7s | Cov Matchday 🏉🌟

Our U7s enjoyed a brilliant tour day packed with rugby and plenty of fun from start to finish!

The players had the incredible experience of heading to Coventry Rugby Club where they played games on the pitch ahead of the match and formed a guard of honour for the players entering the field, something they’ll remember for a long time. 🏉

After cheering on Coventry from the stands and soaking up the matchday atmosphere, the day finished back at the club with a movie night, a perfect way to end their first tour experience! 🎬

A massive thank you to the coaches, volunteers and parents who helped make the day possible. Experiences like this are what Mini Rugby is all about, fun, friendship and creating lifelong memories

M&J Tour 6 of 7: U8s | Ninja Tag 🥷🏉

Our U8s enjoyed a fantastic day packed full of games, fun and plenty of cake!

The day started at the club with a series of rugby games where the players showed great teamwork with a bit of competition! It was brilliant to see their confidence growing as a team, most importantly, how much they enjoyed spending time together. 🏉

After the games, the squad headed off for an action-packed session at Ninja Tag, where the excitement continued! There were plenty of tired legs by the end of the day, but not before everyone refuelled with some awesome HRFC cake to round things off perfectly 🍰

A brilliant day for players, coaches and families alike — creating memories, friendships and plenty of excitement for future tours to come!

M&J Tour 5 of 7: U10s | Chipping Norton ⛺🏉

Our U10s headed to Chipping Norton for a brilliant weekend of camping, rugby and team bonding at the festival weekend, and what a tour it turned out to be!

Across the whole weekend the squad represented the club superbly, showing fantastic teamwork, energy and support for one another both on and off the pitch. The rugby was competitive, exciting and full of effort, but what stood out most was the way the team conducted themselves throughout the tour.

That attitude was recognised in the best possible way when the team were awarded the tournament TREDS Award from all the teams attending the festival. A fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the spirit, respect and togetherness shown by the group all weekend.

Massive thanks to the coaches, volunteers and parents who helped make the tour such a memorable experience.
