“How have you managed to keep growing for so long?”

The honest answer?

We’ve never tried to be someone we’re not.

Yes, we’ve continued to grow and adapt as the fitness industry has evolved over the last 11 years. Coaching looks very different today than it did when we started in 2015.

Technology has changed.
Social media has changed.
The way people consume information has changed.

But we’ve never lost sight of who we are and what we believe good coaching should look like.

In a world where it’s easy to chase trends, copy what everyone else is doing or create a version of yourself for social media, we’ve always believed authenticity matters.

What you see online is exactly who we are in person.

No fake lifestyles.
No pretending to have all the answers.
No trying to be the loudest people in the room.

Just two coaches who genuinely care about helping people improve their health, fitness and confidence.

The reality is, we still love what we do.

We still get excited when a client checks in with a big win.

We still celebrate every milestone, whether that’s losing weight, getting stronger, improving health markers or simply feeling happier in their own skin.

And yes…

We still get frustrated when clients don’t do the things they’ve told us they want to do. Not because we’re angry, but because we care and know what they’re capable of.

Over the last 11 years we’ve learned that coaching isn’t just about training plans and nutrition.

It’s about relationships.
It’s about trust.
It’s about understanding people.
It’s about being there through the highs and the lows.

The fitness industry has changed a lot since 2015, but one thing hasn’t changed…

Our belief that good coaching can genuinely change someone’s life.

We’re incredibly grateful that after all these years we still get to wake up every day and do something we love.

And just as grateful that we’ve managed to build a business that supports our family while helping other people improve theirs.

Because let’s be honest…

Kids are expensive 🤪

No shortcuts. No magic fixes.
Just hard work, patience, discipline and consistency over time.

The people who achieve life changing results are usually the ones who refused to quit when things got hard.

Keep showing up. Keep ticking the boxes. Keep believing in yourself.

Your time will come 💪

Most people don’t fail because the plan stopped working… they fail because emotions take over when progress slows down.

This client could’ve easily self-sabotaged after a temporary stall on the scales.

Instead, she opened up, stayed accountable and kept moving forward 👏

That’s the power of the right support, mindset and coaching.

Real transformation isn’t about being perfect… it’s about learning how to respond better when things don’t go exactly to plan.

And THAT is what creates long term results. 🔥

1️⃣ “Eyeballing” Food Portions

The issue:
You think you’re eating one portion…
but your servings are creeping much higher than you realise.

Butters, oils, cereal, pasta, cheese, kids leftovers etc can massively add up.

✅ Solution:
Start weighing foods properly for a couple of weeks. Leaving ZERO guess work.
Accuracy creates awareness, and awareness changes results. You really will be surprised how progress starts again, once you do this.

2️⃣ Liquid Calories Sneaking In

The issue:
Fancy coffees, fruit juices, alcohol and soft drinks can rack up calories quickly without filling you up.

You drink them in minutes and still feel hungry after.

✅ Solution:
Choose lower calorie swaps where possible:
diet drinks, normal coffee, sugar-free options, lower calorie mixers etc.

You don’t need perfection, just smarter choices more often.

3️⃣ Picking & Grazing Throughout the Day

The issue:
A few bites while cooking.
Finishing the kids leftovers.
Handfuls of crisps.
Random snacks “that don’t count.”

They all count.

✅ Solution:
Be intentional with snacks instead of constantly grazing.
Portion things out properly instead of eating straight from packets.

4️⃣ Forgetting the “Small Things”

The issue:
Cooking oils.
Sauces.
Dressings.
Mayonnaise.
That “tiny drizzle” of olive oil.

These are often the difference between progress and maintenance.

✅ Solution:
Measure oils and sauces instead of guessing.
Small adjustments can save hundreds of calories across a week.

5️⃣ Overestimating Calories Burned

The issue:
People do one gym session…
then act like they’ve earned a cheat meal.

Most workouts don’t burn as many calories as fitness watches claim.

✅ Solution:
Fat loss is built around nutrition first.
Training supports the process, it doesn’t erase overeating.

You can’t out-train poor habits consistently.

Most people don’t need a stricter diet.
They need more honesty and consistency with the basics.

The little things matter more than people think.

3 men. Same goal. Very different timelines.

Stop obsessing over how long…

and start focusing on what it actually takes.

Because the ones who get results?
They don’t guess. They commit. 👊

Big news coming soon on a men’s only programme too… keep your eyes peeled 👀

If you’re a man on 1500 calories…

That’s not discipline.
That’s why you keep starting over.

Yes, you’ll lose weight…
but can you sustain it?

Weekends hit.
Energy drops.
Training suffers.
You fall off… and repeat.

Same cycle. Every time.

Fat loss isn’t about eating as little as possible.
It’s about eating enough to stay consistent.

Because if your plan only works when life is perfect…
it doesn’t work.

Lifting weights and eating enough good food.

That’s the foundation.

There’s so much noise out there…
Supplements, peptides, fat burners etc…

Do they have a place?
Yes…when used properly.

But none of it matters if you haven’t nailed the basics.

Your priority should always be:

✔️ A structured strength training plan tailored to you
✔️enough cardio to match your goals, with a daily step target.
✔️ Eating enough good-quality food to support it

Not crash dieting.
Not starving yourself to drop weight as fast as possible.

The body will change when you:
Train properly
Fuel it properly

And here’s the bit most people ignore…

You do it for long enough.

Because real change doesn’t happen in a few weeks.

It takes time.

For some of you, longer depending on your current condition, but we are all capable of making big changes if you do it right, for long enough.

My last 17 weeks:

✔️ Training locked in
✔️ Food consistent
✔️ Calories UP from 2600 → 2800
✔️ Weight now DOWN to 82.3kg average
✔️ ~10lbs lost

No extremes. No crash dieting.
Just turning up and doing the basics properly.

You don’t need perfect.
You need consistently and you need to stop quitting every time life gets in the way.

Jayd’s 12-week journey is proof that you do not need a perfect routine to make amazing progress.

Busy mum. Busy life. Work, family, social plans, trips away…

The biggest win isn’t just the physical change, it’s the confidence, structure, and habits she’s built that now fit her real life.

This is exactly what sustainable progress looks like 👏

If you’re waiting for life to “slow down” before starting, this is your reminder that the perfect time doesn’t exist.

Start where you are and make it work around your life 💥
