Mikes virtual medal for the half marathon arrived recently, despite that smile and the flashy bit of autumnal bling he has vowed never to do another half marathon ever again! 🤣 .....we shall see!

The weather was awful, the route was undulating, the participants were massively undertrained but thankfully skin is waterproof 🤣

He's done! Mikes first ever half marathon boxed off on basically no training!

10k in and Mike is doing amazing, he has he hatea me a couple of times but at least I don't have him dangling from a rop 20foot off the ground!

Someone is enjoying his new toys! This week Mike got himself a new harness and a piece of kit for doing hanging belays 😳 Who knew a small length of rope with a bit of metal could bring so much pleasure, I wonder if it will be as much fun a couple of thousand feet above the ground...hopefully it works just as well 😊

Back on the rocks where he really belongs 😁 The Delago towers will have to wait until 2021 but in the meantime the peak district has lots of great places to play, practice and drag along unwilling support volunteers!

This weekend has been all about climbing (indoor and outdoor) and running......forgot to mention the running 😂

Good Morning and happy Friday!

Last night Mike decided week 2 of c25k looked easy so jumped straight up to week 3 instead, smiles all around...wondering how much smiling will occur in 37 days time as he attempts the half marathon distance 😁 13.1 miles..... 😱

So CV19 has forced us to delay the 'Cliffhanger' climb until summer 2021, but this does give opportunity for plenty of practice climbs and maybe a few crazy challenges here and there!

SPEAKING of which, to kick us off in 40days time, Mike (who has just finished week 1 of the couch 2 5k plan 2 days late haha) will be running a half marathon!

A huge thankyou to those who have donated so far, obviously Mike is gutted he cannot do the climb you have sponsored him to do yet but trust me, he will earn those kind funds in blood sweat and tears one way or another 😁
