Hanley Castle Badminton Club Unfortunately the club has now folded as the venue was no longer available to us.

Rather stating the obvious here, and should have done it a week ago, but the Club is on hold until we get over this Virus Crisis.
To keep active you are allowed to go out in the garden and hit a shuttle in to the oncoming wind - it will come back and you can repeat...
Once we get over this and I have a date when the school reopens I will let everyone know!
Fun Fact:
Did you know that top feather shuttles are made from only the left wing of a goose - this has resulted in lots of geese in China flying round in circles - true (mostly)!
Stay healthy everyone and fingers crossed we can be up and running again in a month??

A quick note to let all you badminton fans know that the school is now open to the club again so we’re back on our Wednesday club night starting tonight !

Hi All

Just a quick reminder of the dates we lose the hall - so this coming Wednesday is on but shut then for three weeks so we return on the 11th March:

February 2020
Wednesday 12th - all good and game on

Wednesday 19th - closed

Wednesday 26th - closed

March 2020
Wednesday 04th - closed

Wednesday 11th - all good again

We have has a tremendous response and now have a few more new members.
We still have the capacity for a few more so if you are interested in coming along please do but obviously not on the closed dates - don't forget you get two free visits to see how friendly we are.

!! CALLING ALL BADMINTON PLAYERS !!

We now have spaces for Badminton players to come along and join our club.
We play every Wednesday from 8pm to 10pm - first two visits are free of charge so what have you got to lose? Give it a try!

We have the use of four courts and shuttles are provided - all you need to bring is your racket, know how to score and lots of enthusiasm.

The club has players of all abilities up to League standard and we all mix up so there are plenty of opertunities to improve your game by playing more experienced players if you want to.
