A brilliant effort from the Hamilton Gents Team tonight, securing a 6–4 away win against a very strong East Kilbride side.

There were many great performances across the team, and as is so often the case it came down to fine margins. On the 18th, and in one of the last games on the course, David Cardwell delivered under pressure to clinch the decisive point and seal the overall victory.

Our thanks to East Kilbride for their hospitality this evening, and we wish them well for the remainder of their season.

Well done gents 👏⛳

A big thank you to the 15 members who came out early this morning to support the divotting session. Your help made a real difference to course recovery and presentation 👏

We were able to split into two groups, with one covering the top half of the course and the other the lower. Thanks to your efforts, the majority of holes were completed, and the greens staff will finish the remaining areas.

Your continued support is greatly appreciated and plays an important role in keeping the course in excellent condition for everyone ⛳

The Hamilton Juniors put on a fantastic display yesterday at the Wishaw Junior Open. Continuing his excellent recent form, Aiden Dempsey picked up 1st prize in Category 1, with Lee Hendry taking the top prize in Category 2.

With a huge drive into the wind, Harris Douglas claimed the Longest Drive on the 18th.

A special mention goes to Leo Rutherford, competing in his first event after receiving his handicap last week and having only started playing five months ago. A brilliant achievement 👏

Well done to all juniors who took part, doing Hamilton proud ⛳

We'd like to thank Wishaw Golf Club for hosting the juniors and wish them all the best for the remainder of their season.

Maintenance week is well underway on the course.

• All greens have been verti-drained using 10mm tines to a depth of 8 inches.
• Greens have also been verti-cut at 2mm to improve surface quality and encourage healthier growth.
• Over-seeding has been carried out across the greens using pure bent seed.
• Some of our wetter aprons have also been verti-drained to aid drainage and improve playing conditions.

Our Junior team travelled to Shotts on Tuesday for their second league match of the campaign. In a good‑spirited contest, and thankfully some dry weather, Hamilton won the match 4-2.

There were strong performances throughout the team, with notable performances from Ewan Mather at just 10 years old and Matthew Elliott at 13 years old both winning their matches.

A great effort across the board, well done boys 👏⛳

Thank you to Shotts for their hospitality and we wish them well for the remainder of their season.

Our gents team travelled to Larkhall last night for their fourth league match of the campaign. In a good‑spirited contest, and with plenty of familiar faces in the Larkhall side, Hamilton edged a very tight match 5.5–4.5.

There were strong performances throughout the team, with two standout moments - Callum Waugh fought back from four down to win on the final hole, and Barry Watson secured the vital half point in the last match on the course late into the evening.

A great effort across the board, well done gents 👏⛳

Thank you to Larkhall for their hospitality and we wish them well for the remainder of their season.
