๐ Meet Team Member 2 - Charlie McKenzie
Q-1. Tell us your name and a wee bit about yourself.
Im Charlie , I live in Glasgow with my partner Heather , Iโve always enjoyed running but Iโve got into it competitively the last few years completing various marathons and ultra marathons .
Q-2. What made you put your name forward for the London Marathon for Comic Relief?
Iโve watched it on the tv every Sunday since I was a kid , became more obsessed with it as I got older and have tried numerous times in the ballot every year to secure a place !
Q-3. What went through your head when you found out youโd made the Bravehearts team?
I was hyper and I still am hyper thinking about it , the whole experience of training with the team in the build up then travelling down and actually racing is a dream.
Q-4. What are you most looking forward to โ and what do you think will challenge you most โ on the journey to London?
Iโm Looking forward to everything tbh, the hard trainjng months In the dark cold winter mornings will be challenging but I enjoy the difficult stuff . It will be great seeing everyone in the team train and improve and get where they want to be . I challenge myself to always be better and train better , this will be my most committed Iโve ever been with such an iconic event ahead .
