Our mission is to make kids ‘the best they can be’ by developing their football skills and attitude to the game. The objectives for everyone involved is to create a professionalised environment and positive culture to support the development of football skills for kids that play 4 aside to 7 aside. Our coaches, parents and kids charter is aligned to underpin this. We have a comprehensive managemen

t team at the club and ensured a broad skill set when asking each member of the team to get involved. Child Protection & Wellbeing, as well as Football Skill Development are at the core of our thinking. The WOSFA player pathway starts from age 4 and up to age 12, covering 4 aside - 7 aside age small sided games. We offer 3 categories within the player pathway;

1. Training only; For players of all abilities focusing primarily on skill development, technique and giving the participants the opportunity to play in a safe, fun and structured environment, geared at individual development for everyone to enjoy
2. Intermediate training & games; For kids who have developed their basic skills and can apply them within a ‘match’ context
3. Advanced training & games; For kids who have autonomous use if the basic football skills and comfortably utilise those skills in a match context

Within the monthly subscription, each child will have access to 3 hours training per week. At Intermediate & Advanced levels kids will also have festival or league games dependent upon age. WOSFA offer football camps during school breaks, booking information can be found in our ‘Programmes’ section of the club website

What a terrific day at the Oriam today, The WOSFA Cup 2024.

Thanks so much to Newcastle United for making the journey up and supporting WOSFA, as they always do….. we look forward to opening WOSFA Newcastle in the near future……..

HeartofMidlothianFC,Celtic FC,St Mirren FC and Hamilton Academical Football Club 1874 amongst others, brought 120 of the most talented kids across Scotland and North East England, to play and compete.

Clubs who have contributed to the development of WOSFA since its inception and were we enjoy excellent relationships were welcomed into an excellent facility, safe environment in which, players, parents and coaches all played there part in creating.

- More than 20,000 touches of a football
- Almost 200 goals scored

November 2025 will see the return of the WOSFA Cup and between now and then, maybe a couple of other Football and Futsal tournaments to keep us busy….

Early morning start at Barlia for 2012s on Sunday. League action away to Charlie Miller. Great surface for the boys and a much improved home team made it a good three points in the end.
After losing an opener on the break the boys dominated the ball for most of the game without creating the amount of chances we would expect. It took a well taken close range finish from Harry Kernachan and two OGs from corners to take the win. Boys moved the ball well across the park and it was great to get all the boys on the park getting plenty of game time. Also another league game ticked off for the group. Regional Cup action next week v St Mirren.
