Players are awarded their Brigands Cap after playing a handful of games "in the right spirit". In some players, it spurs them onto great things; here Steve Blackburn (left) receives his cap from Club Chair Gerry Northwood and went on to become the best T20 batter in 2024 and the recipient of the Taylor's Port Award for services to the Club in 2025.

From Victoria Sponges and chocolate cake, to homemade sausage rolls and scones with Rodders clotted cream and strawberry jam, all washed down with a cup of Yorkshire tea.
