It's safe to say round 3 of the RS21 UK & Ireland Cup 2026 was tight at Hayling Island SC (HISC).

With 6 different winners across 7 races, it was all to play for this weekend, with 'Dark & Stormy' pinching the win.

Day 1 in Hayling Island for Round 3 of the UK&I Cup - word of the day: Close!
Unbelievably tight racing in glamorous conditions in Hayling Bay, 12 teams battling it out for the finest of margins. Conditions couldn’t have been much better with a medium breeze, bright sunshine and a light swell. 2 races completed and all the play for on the results sheet, Russel Peters with Riff Raff comes out on top with team Exhale and Tiga Tiger close behind. Looking forward to 2 more days of similar conditions!

Welcoming another RS21 to the UK Fleet 🎉🎉

Nothing beats collection day excitement 🍾⛵️

RS21 154 customer David Wilkins marked the occasion in style by christening a new boat with champagne before heading off to add it to the Rutland Sailing Club fleet.

As our Head of Commercial, Michiel Geerling, put it: "From the workshop to the slipway, it's always special seeing a new boat begin its journey - and even better when it starts with smiles, celebration, and a proper launch tradition."

Entry now open for Round 3!!

Next up in the RS21 UK & Ireland Cup is Round 3 in Hayling Island from the 19th to 21st June. After a fantastic national championships hoisted by HISC last year we head back to the open waters of Hayling bay for more close racing! With berthing now secured in Sparkes Marina again, we can enjoy the ease of marina facilities, a great place for a dock party too! Not to mention watching the sunset from the HISC clubhouse on the beach at the event dinner and annual RS21 class Quiz night! This will be an event not to miss!
