16hh Warmblood X Quarter Horse 10 year old Mare

Absolutely beautiful mare, with big flashy paces and a chunky, correct confirmation. A medium weight type and she will carry off a taller rider as deep on the body with a good length of rein. Lovely personality, not nasty/grumpy and stands patiently to be bath, groomed and plaited.

To ride she is reasonably forward going but not whizzy, requires some leg but not constant nagging to go forward. In the arena she knows all the basics and is established at prelim/novice level. Her transitions are balanced and she has the potential to train to a higher level. She pops a fence, coloured or Rustic and will jump up to 80/90cm.

Hacks alone confidently and is excellent with traffic (buses etc) and no problem in open spaces not strong. Also happy hacking in company. She would suit a competent novice and above, for dressage and riding club activities. A real head turner!

Excellent to box, shoe and clip. High 4s.

Very comfortable to ride, she is forward going and enjoys her work, she is enthusiastic. She takes you to a fence and is a bold jumper, very comfortable armchair type of ride.

We are delighted to offer rosa a super allrounder with a serious jump. This stunning horse boasts many great attributes including fab looks, a wonderful temperament, nice paces and a super brave jump.

To jump you will not find a braver, more honest horse. This mare is as bold as the day is long, she loves her job and happily jumps round a course of 80cm inc all fillers and trays. A super little horse. Rosa has been out hunting with previous owners.

Rosa schools well on the flat, she rides with three nice paces and a great canter. She is well established, leg on ride and well mannered. Rosa doesn’t require riding daily to remain sane.

Rosa is great to hack, both alone and in company, she will go first or last through open spaces and busy congested areas. She has been autumn hunting this season and is very well mannered on the field.
