This is a huge milestone for us at mata Leao Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Halifax! We’ve had an incredible turnout this is one of our busiest classes yet. It’s fantastic to see so many of you in our beginners’ class. We’re building something truly special here so much hard work has gone on behind the scenes. We’re excited to keep growing, offering even more to our community, and we can’t wait to see how far we’ll go on this journey. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu truly cares for everyone no matter your age or background. It creates a space where people from all walks of life come together.

Tonight, Laura MG took us through a fundamental judo trip — a great session for sharpening technique. With a black belt in Judo and a purple belt in BJJ, she brings a wealth of experience to the mats.

We’re excited to have Laura leading our upcoming women’s-only BJJ course alongside , a BJJ brown belt.

📅 Course Details:
• 24th May – 28th June
• Sundays | 6:00pm – 7:30pm
• Private women-only facility
• £99 for the full 6-week course
