What a way to kick things off! 🦁

Today we completed our first ever monthly Charity Open Mat at Mata Leao BJJ Halifax and together we’ve raised an amazing £300 for Cancer Research UK! 🙏💙

A massive thank you to everyone who came down, got some rounds in and donated. Whether you rolled for 10 minutes or stayed for the whole session, every contribution made a difference.

Every last Sunday of the month, we’ll come together, get some rounds in, raise money for a great cause. 🙏

Another exciting matchup has officially been added to the card… and this one sees two experienced brown belts collide in the 105kg division.

On October 11th, we’ll be hosting our first-ever Mata Leao Submission Grappling event as we celebrate one year since opening our Mata Leăo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Halifax academy.
