🔥 THE FIREPIT HALIFAX PLAYER OF THE MATCH 🔥

This week’s The Firepit - Halifax Player of the Match goes to Rachel Twibill! 👏

An absolute machine in the middle of the field today. 💪

Twibs’ efforts probably go under the radar most weeks and she doesn’t always get the praise she deserves, but today she put in a top-notch performance.

Relentless work rate, tough carries and a huge defensive effort helped drive the Panthers forward as they came away with another big win.

Today, Twibs gets the recognition she deserves. 👏

FULL TIME | THATTO HEATH CRUSADERS 0-44 PANTHERS 💙🤍

13 FROM 13. 🏆

Another win on the road and the Panthers Women remain unbeaten!

It was very much a game of two halves for the Panthers. The first half was far from their best, with plenty of errors and the team struggling to find their rhythm.

But defensively, the Panthers were outstanding with Rachel Twibill putting in a some serious work in defence.

Despite not playing their best rugby, they managed to go into half time 16-0 up and in control of the game.

The second half was a completely different story.

The Panthers found their rhythm and the right edge started causing all sorts of problems for Thatto Heath, with some excellent combinations between Izzy Clinton, Tyla Naidole and Erin Bentley creating plenty of opportunities.

Another strong second-half display saw the Panthers pull away and secure their 13th consecutive victory.

13 from 13.

Still unbeaten.

And the Panthers Women keep rolling.

NEXT FIXTURE | THATTO HEATH CRUSADERS (A)

We’re back on the road this Sunday as the Panthers head to Thatto Heath to take on the Crusaders in another huge league fixture.

We’ve already faced Thatto Heath at home and away earlier in the season in the cup and both games provided tough competition. We know we’ll have to be at our best again if we’re going to come away with the points.

The ladies have been outstanding so far this season and the squad continues to grow stronger every week with experience and new faces stepping up.

One more win would make it 13 from 13.
