This is my Client Imogen. One of the things I love most about being a personal trainer is seeing the incredible journeys my clients go through, and Imogen’s story is one I am especially proud to share🔥

This is what Imogen wrote about her journey:
‘Ever since Covid I have not been able to get back into exercising properly and over the past couple of years, I have put no effort into exercising as I have not managed to find something to keep me motivated. Then in July 2024, I unexpectedly lost my brother. This made me lose all motivation to do anything and in turn, I ended up gaining more weight as I turned to food for comfort and started drinking more alcohol to try and ease the pain. This did not work and I got to the point that I hated the way I looked and did not feel like myself. I kept telling everyone (especially my boyfriend who was probably sick of it) that I was going to do something about it and stick to it but I never did. The cliché of ‘new year, new me’ kicked in and the fact my mum bought me PT sessions for Christmas made me come to Kayla for help. Now my weekends would not be the same without a PT session with Kayla! After 8 months of weekly sessions (missing a few), being more active, changing what I am eating and cutting down massively on takeaways and alcohol, I feel like a completely different person! Kayla has helped me to gain my confidence and motivation back. She pushes me to my limit and does not listen to ‘I can’t’ as she knows I can. Since starting with Kayla at the start of 2025, I have lost 2.3 stone and now I am starting to feel more like me. Kayla is not just a personal trainer, she is a friend (and my personal therapist, double PT!). I would 100% recommend Kayla for PT sessions even when she makes you do double sessions and lots of BURPEES!!’
