Anna gives up so much of her time to come along to the dance school, welcome everyone through the doors and make every single person feel so loved and welcome. 💕

We received this beautiful handwritten letter and honestly we don’t think we’ll ever be able to fully explain what it meant to us. 🥹

Sometimes as teachers we don’t realise just how much of an impact we have on a child’s life. We see them each week, watch them learn, grow, gain confidence, overcome challenges and discover who they are but to hear that we have made them feel safe, happy, understood and included is something we will treasure forever.

It’s so easy to think of dance as simply classes, exams and performances but it is so much more than that. It’s the relationships we build, the memories we make and the little part we get to play in a dancer’s journey. 🩰

And that’s why goodbyes are hard. ❤️

When a dancer has been part of your school for years, you don’t just say goodbye to a student. You say goodbye to a little person you’ve watched grow up, cheered on, encouraged and become more confident.

This letter reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
