Shelf Northowram Hedgetop Cricket Club We are Hedgetop, Super Hedgetop We have 4 senior teams representing NHTCC this being the 1st team, 2nd team, Sunday team and a T20 team.

We have 4 junior teams at our club starting from the U9's, U13'S, U15'S and the U17'S. All teams play in the Fosters Halifax Cricket League.

Weekends review

The first team were put into bat at Oxenhope and scored a lowly 139. In response the game was always in the balance and when the ball was thrown to Razwan Saghir he delivered a match winning spell taking 4/11 which took the team to a 6 run victory.

The second team were also inserted to bat at home to Bradshaw, we scored 217/8 in our 45 overs with a superb hundred coming from Mohammed Zubair who led the way for the side. Zubbzys day was not done as he also took 27/4 with the ball but unforetunately Bradshaw chased down our total 9 down in what was a great watch.

The Sundays rounded the weekend off with a win and secured promotion to the top division meaning all 3 sides will be playing premier division cricket next year 👏🏻 a superb effort

Weekends results

The first team entertained Triangle at home, putting them into bat they scored 244 in a 34 over contest. In response, we were never really in the chase losing wickets at regular intervals with the skipper Harry Talbot top scoring with 53 in a 30 run loss.

The second team travelled to Blackley losing by 200 runs in a disappointing display owing to poor weekend availability

The Sundays however marched in with another victory as they now only need 1 more victory for promotion as they beat Mount at home with Hari Feraz scoring 52 and Ghulam Naqshband taking 5/15 👏🏻

Onto next week. Only 2 weeks to go

Weekends results

The first team travelled to Illingworth and stuck them into bat with Illingworth scoring 223/8, the wickets shared around. In response despite a valiant 43 from Kier Litjens we fell way short with some rather comical dismissals on show đź‘€ (play cricket for anyone who wants a laugh)

The seconds had a great win at home to Traingle as they limited them to 184/8 in there 45 overs with the wickets shared around. In response, it was Tait Cole’s with a superb 83 which lead the way with numerous other contributions.

The Sundays rounded the weekend off with another victory and moved into the top 2. The stand out performance being Faisal Feraz who scored an impressive 100 retired as we won by 136 runs as the promotion race hots up with 3 games to go
