As the school holidays come to a close, we know several of our students will be starting a new chapter of their lives. Whether starting a new school, a new class, appenticeship, or a new job we wish you all good luck in your new venture.

We also look forward to welcoming new and existing students back to our lessons in Brighouse and Halifax. All of our lessons are running as normal, and we continue to provide low cost, but high quality tuition.

No politics, no gimmicks, and no contracts - just traditional training

No classes at Halifax Inspire Centre now until 2nd September. This is because the centre is unavailable. Our Brighouse lessons continue throughout the school holidays though👊

The Inspire Centre informed me yesterday that their facilities will be unavailable between Wednesday 19th August to Saturday 29th August. As a result, there will be no lessons running on:

Wednesday 19th & 26th August
Friday 21st & 28th August

I apologise for any inconvenience, but it is out of my control.

If you are paying monthly for lessons and are adversely affected by the cancellations, please adjust your standing order payment accordingly.

Fresh back from holiday to some busy classes this weekend. A big thank you to all of our senior members for covering the lessons while we were away and I hope you all enjoyed the input from different instructors.

If you are going away on holiday over the next few weeks; enjoy yourselves and don't forget to post some photos of your holiday hyungs. Classes will be running as normal though throughout the school holidays ✈️👊☀️

It's hot again, but the Dojang temperature is fortunately the same as normal as we have air conditioning at both of our training venues.

We continually assess the conditions during lessons though and, if necessary, we will change the structure of classes during periods of hot weather.☀️🥋🫗

Well done to everyone that tested for their new grades this weekend. Particular congratulations go to our new Dan grades; Craig and Isabel, Joanne (graded to 2nd Dan), Yun and Steph (graded to 3rd Dan) , and Amelia on her 4th Dan (Master) promotion. 👊

Thanks to everyone that attended the coaching and development seminar today. I hope you all got something useful from the day and enjoyed the opportunity to network with other Tang Soo Do students from neighbouring counties.

I have not taught Jin Do So hyung before, and it was the first airing for Dan Gum E Bu so you are the first students to receive this input.

Part of the day was dedicated to leadership and coaching, and I thank you all for taking part in the group exercises. It would be remiss of me not to thank the Sa Bom and senior grades for their valuable input today - these events cannot run without us working together.
