Recently had our annual meeting, which went well and I am no longer chair wahoo!! 13 of us are going to a ball on Saturday in Barkisland, can't wait to get on the dance.

Just been on our annual boxing day walk. It's good to blow away the cobwebs but todays wind was taking it a bit too far. Great walk and good solcalising in the pub afterwards.

This Saturday, 4th June, We are hosting aIVC at a regional forum. We look forward to meeting people from the aIVC committee and Leeds and Harrogate IVC, Sheffield IVC, Lakes and Borders IVC and Cambridge IVC. Welcome everyone.

Just had a great day out at Manchester Christmas markets with 8 otehr members. We travelled by train, went to the Whitworth art gallery, light lunch, a wander roaund the market (over 300 stalls) then had a meal and home. Brilliant day.

The first Wednesday of the moneth meal next week is at The Shears in Halifax, you have to book with the host for the meal but can just trn up for the drink.

Last night was the first at our 3rd Wednesday of the month venue, White Swan in Outlane. There was a good turnout and more room than the previous venue so much better. It was good to meet up with people. Joan

20 of us had a really good BBQ at one of our new members houses. The food and company was great and the whole event was not dampened by the torrential downpour, thunder and lightening or the blowing over of the gazebo.

Some of our members enjoyed Easter weekend away in Beverley, staying at the Youth hostel.
