Dance 4 All Halifax

Tell me you run a dance school… without saying you run a dance school 😂 this has been my washing line for 2 weeks! As much as we need some rain I’ve been grateful to get all the costumes done I won’t lie!

Hope we’re all enjoying the holidays so far… junior summer school continues this Thursday from 10-1 and we’ve still some spaces available if anyone fancies it 💃

We also have our pre school classes running this Friday for both age 2-3 and 3-4. Anyone’s welcome to come give it a go if they fancy it or know anyone else who might be interested… just let me know 🙂 x

And that’s it… we are closed for the summer holidays! 🥳☀️😎

It’s been a very chaotic week, I’ve got a lot of messages and emails to respond to, I’m going to try and get all admin bits boxed off over the next few days.

Hopefully summer school dates and details will be confirmed and sent out tonight 💃☺️

Other than that… we hope you have an amazing summer, whether going away or staying at home and we’ll see everyone back in class from Tuesday 1st September!

Most of our classes have availability… not all but most. If you’re interested in joining any of our classes please just send us a message and we’ll get you in for trial lessons in the new term. Now’s the best time to join 😀

Well we did it… I’m a broken woman today 😂 but we did it! Or should I say your amazing little superstars did it! 🤩

What a day yesterday was! From tech run through to the show itself… we’re so proud of every single student who got on that stage and performed their hearts out… they were absolutely amazing, like I say, so so proud of them all as I’m sure you all are too!

As always a huge thank you has to go to my fab family and chaperones who give up their time to help us and the day just wouldn’t run without, they really are the hidden hero’s of the day! Both the teachers and I would not be able to put on yesterday without them!

To my fabulous teachers… what a TEAM I have! The ones that put together the amazing choreography your children and adults performed yesterday… and what routines they were 💃… and everything else they do in between all year round… not just for our students but to help me as well! Feel very lucky to have such a wonderful Dance 4 All family 🥰

And lastly, and I don’t give him nowhere near enough thanks as I should… but to my amazing amazing dad… without who I wouldn’t even have the absolute honour of running Dance 4 All. It’s been 10 years now since I took over the running of Dance 4 All and he gives up his time every year, both at the dress run and yesterday to compere the show for you all… don’t get me wrong, I go up to his house every year to do those note cards with him and I don’t know why I bother because he goes on that stage and ad libs half of it… I’m stood in the wings sometimes thinking ‘what on earth is he saying now’ or nervous of what he’s going to say next 😂🙈 however I’m very very grateful he does it as it’s a job I do not want to do!!

Until next year everyone… Saturday 3rd July 2027… get it in your diaries!

** TOMORROWS DRESS REHEARSAL **

Still replying to messages coming in as we speak but all infant/junior/intermediate messages have gone out to parent groups… senior groups have had their messages also.

If you’ve any extra questions please just send me a text and I’ll reply tonight 🙂 once we’ve got tomorrow out of the way I’ll then message round from Monday about timings for show day itself! 💃

Don’t forget it’s full dress rehearsal, that’s all costumes, hair and make up! As it’s also photo day 📸💁‍♀️

Don’t forget water bottles and snacks if needed depending how long they’re there for!

Ever since getting the work phone, which don’t get me wrong has been the best thing, should have done it years ago!

But because I now communicate with most of you directly through that I have become absolutely hopeless on here, I’m so sorry to those who prefer a fb post or see these better 😕 anyhoo…

💃 LESS THAN 4 WEEKS TO GO 💃
It always comes round so quick… don’t forget to get your tickets if you haven’t done already… all direct through the Victoria Theatre box office.

Everyone should have their show letters now, these all went out after the Easter hols which has all the details on for both the dress run and show day itself!

SUNDAY 28TH JUNE - DRESS REHEARSAL
This has now been booked and confirmed for Halifax Academy which is where we’ve had it the last few years.

As always just ping me a message if you have any questions… I’ll be messaging round individual groups over the next few weeks with specific details for that particular group ☺️

I hope you’ve all had an amazing Christmas and Happy New Year everyone 🥳

I’ve blinked and 2 weeks has flown by! Classes start back tomorrow!

Ballet at Riverside 🩰 and jazz at our studios in Halifax 💃

If anyone’s interested in any of our classes now is the best time to start so just send me a message… don’t forget our pre school classes have started now also for 2-4 year olds!
