All 4 One Flyball team

Last weekend we went racing at Thetford.
As always Waveney Valley Flyball Team put on a friendly, well organised competition , with the added drama of a heatwave and a mini tornado on Sunday afternoon. Congratulations and thanks to John and the team for rising to the challenge and enabling racing to go ahead on Monday.
We had a successful time, coming home with a nice haul of rosettes.
Big shout out for Miles, who was awarded Star of the Show on Sunday . So pleased Miles’ progress over the past year into the solid dog he is now has been recognised.
Our other star of the show was Reggie, who only started flyball a couple of months ago. He smashed his first lawn time on Saturday, and walked away with first place in his starter singles on Monday.
Some of the team are now camping in Thetford Forest before going onto the World Championships at the weekend.. So excited to see all the action !

Another busy and successful Flyball weekend - thanks to Lucy and everyone on the Quantum Leap Flyball Team for putting on a great competition.

Our league teams ran on Saturday and Sunday with Siver Linings placing second on both days and Blue Sky coming in third , despite a few ups and down along the way …😂

There was so much to celebrate in singles and pairs, too

What a fantastic weekend it was!

Sunshine, great racing, and an all-round brilliant atmosphere from start to finish. Our new location, it couldn’t have been more perfect!

A huge thank you to Tom and Anthony for all their help in the lead-up, and for organising the food vendors—the food was incredible and definitely kept everyone going!

As always, we’re so grateful to everyone who judged or stepped in for ring party duties. These events simply don’t happen without you.

And finally, the biggest thank you goes to my amazing team. The effort, teamwork, and support you showed all weekend didn’t go unnoticed—you pulled everything together and made it such a success for everyone.

What a fantastic weekend!

Huge congratulations to UFO on a really successful launch event. Despite the wind and stormy weather, the atmosphere was incredibly positive, and it was so good to be back racing outdoors again.

All4One had a brilliant weekend, both in and out of the ring.

We took two teams to the competition:
Blue Sky ran on Saturday, finishing 2nd in Division 1. We know this team has even more speed to come this season! A special mention goes to Shadow for achieving his first sub-4 in competition, and to Keley, who held her focus beautifully all day.

All4 Silver Linings ran on Sunday and took 1st place in their division. Blitz made his ring debut in the final race of the day and absolutely smashed it!

Across the weekend, we had a mix of singles and starter singles, with some fantastic performances:
Maggie and Blitz both placed 3rd in their very first starter singles 🤩
Keley took 2nd place in hers
Shadow won Division 1 singles on Sunday
Miles also took 1st place in his division on Saturday

Well done as well to Poppy, Molly, Ollie, and Tilly, who all earned 2nd place rosettes, and to Milo, who ran faultlessly in a fast division to take 4th place.

Rudi raced NFC and spent some valuable lawn time working on holding his turn, making great progress over the weekend. Maggie, Lando, and Pippa also made the most of their lawn time. A big thank you to Louise for recognising Lando’s tremendous potential and awarding him a ⭐️ Star of the Show!

All in all, a fantastic start to the season! 🐾

Can’t wait for the first competition of the season this weekend, which is also the UFO launch!

And it’s time to introduce members of the team who will be debuting this year or next . We can’t wait to see how they get on …

This time last year we had just recruited four new dogs, and pretty much doubled the size of our team ( from a small start!). Since then we have grown the team, had great fun running two comps and have raced outdoors enjoying the support and friendship - and friendly rivalry - of the Flyball community. We love the ribbons and rosettes, and are focused on and celebrate the PBs , but we aim to have fun, too, and this year has been a blast!
We can’t wait to get in the lanes again next year, but in the meantime here’s wishing you all a very happy new year !

Team Xmas dinner on Saturday, followed by fun and games with the dogs at our last training session yesterday. Lovely way to end the Flyball year.
