If anyone would like to help take Arlington back to looking its best, we're planning a day of painting, jet washing and grass cutting at the stadium on Wednesday 9th September until 8pm.

If you've got strimmers etc feel free to bring them along, and we’ll supply the paint supplies etc.

Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne racing is SAVED!

First of all, we would like to thank the Dugard family for trusting Spedeworth Motorsports to have a full lease on the stadium.

We met the Dugard family today and have come up with an agreement for a lease on the stadium, but the stadium cannot re-open until all of the remedial work required at the venue is completed.

This is obviously going to cost a lot of time and money. We are aware that people have offered to do a GoFundMe page and this would be appreciated.

Once we have the list of work that needs to be done we will be writing a press release to ask any companies which do any type of the work that may need to be done to help us out.

This information is all we can release at this stage but the good news is racing at Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne will return!

Devastating news for us at Spedeworth Motorsports HQ this morning.

To confirm, this page is managed by Spedeworth Motorsports.

Spedeworth Motorsports are extremely disappointed to announce the end of racing at Arlington Stadium, Eastbourne. After bringing tens of thousands of drivers and race fans to the venue for well over 60 years, we have been informed this morning that the stadium owners no longer wish to host our oval racing events with immediate effect.

As not only a business, but as real fans of the venue, we are extremely disappointed with this sudden decision having enjoyed a great event at the stadium as recently as last night.

We would like to thank everyone for their support at this much-loved venue; with decades of memories we were hoping to create plenty more for years to come.

Across the Spedeworth Group, we remain committed to taking the sport we love to the next level and aim to continue the year-on-year growth of driver and race fan numbers again.

We will update everyone further with more specific details around bookings in the coming days.
