Looking forward to this one with Leigh!😄📈

Winter project has begun, over the next 4/5 months we will be getting together most fortnights to work on Leigh’s club path direction, low point control and club face issues at impact.

Current ball flight starts left with either a straight pull or a left to right curvature which can vary, contact can become heavy.

Todays first lesson was to improve takeaway and handle position at the top of the back swing as he was getting far too deep in the back swing giving him no choice but to go over the top. 🚨

Fab work with Pete last week!💪

Too much upper body tilt towards target at set up encouraging steeping in swing arc and out to in swing direction resulting high weak right miss or heavy left.

We altered his shoulder and spine set up along with left hip being moved closer to lead side (Towards target) at set up to promote shallowing of swing arc whilst allowing Pete’s downswing to be led by the lower half initially instead of his upper body to create better sequencing through impact and improved low point control to help strike location and distance.
