The Roonagh Cup was about so much more than rugby. It was about friendship, community, family and coming together for something truly special. 🏉❤️

And together… WE DID IT!

💷 £10,850 RAISED FOR EACH – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices In memory of our beautiful Roonagh💜💷

From everyone who pulled on a shirt, bought a wristband, donated, sponsored, volunteered, served drinks, organised, travelled, cheered from the sidelines or simply turned up and supported the day THANK YOU! 🙌

A massive thank you to our friends at Thomond R.F.C Official for making the journey over from Ireland and bringing such incredible generosity with them. 🇮🇪💜

To our amazing local community, fantastic businesses, volunteers, helpers, players, guests and supporters, this achievement belongs to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. ❤️

£10,850 is an incredible amount, but the biggest win was seeing two clubs, two communities and one rugby family come together to make a REAL difference. 👏

From Hadleigh to Ireland and back again… this is what rugby is all about. 🏉💜

The countdown is on… and we can’t wait to see our youth and mini players back at Layham Road! 🔴⚪⚫

Whether you’re a familiar face returning for another season or brand new to rugby, we want to welcome you to the Rams family. 🙌

Get those boots ready, find those scrum caps and get yourselves excited…Sunday 6th September is going to be a big one! 💪

We’re looking to welcome new players across our youth & mini sections, so if you’ve been thinking about giving rugby a go, there’s no better time to join us.

🏉 ROONAGH CUP – IMPORTANT INFORMATION 💜

With next weekend fast approaching We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Hadleigh RFC for a fantastic day of rugby, family fun and fundraising in memory of Roonagh. 💜

🎟️ Wristbands – £5
Wristbands will be available to purchase at the club. Please keep your wristband safe once purchased, as it will be used to verify paid entry. NO WRISTBAND = NO ENTRY TO THE CLUBHOUSE.

🍺 Drinks & glasses
All drinks will be served in durable plastic glasses. There is a one-off £2 purchase for your first glass, which you can keep as a lasting souvenir of the Roonagh Cup fundraising event. 💜

💷 Cash & card accepted

🎟️ Raffle – £1 per strip
We have some amazing prizes up for grabs, so make sure you get your raffle tickets!

⚽ Car park
Football training will take place until 12 noon, after which the car park will be closed. Please arrive with this in mind.

☀️ Hot weather expected
Make sure you bring sun cream, plenty of water and suitable clothing for what is expected to be a hot day.

🪑 Bring a chair or blanket
There will be plenty going on throughout the day, so bring something comfortable to sit on and enjoy the rugby.

🎶 Live music & DJ from 7pm

Most importantly, come along, have a brilliant day and help us raise as much as possible for EACH – East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. 💜
